Ephesians 5:21-23 "21Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. 22Wives,submit toyourhusbandsasto theLord.23For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, His body, of which He is the Savior.…"

But why Lord?

It took me a long time to understand and acknowledge this "Submit" word. Why, because I did not have an understanding of who I was submitting to. See, if you read verse 21, it states to 1st submit to each other. But how can one learn to submit to another if they not disciplined in submitting to Christ FIRST?
